Kanna Garden
Heart Open With Nature
Kanna Garden was born from the shared vision of Gabrielle Bachand and Michael Oliver—partners, collaborators, and seekers—who’ve spent the past three years walking side by side in love, ritual, and healing.
Michael is the founder of The Flying Sage and Legacy Journeys, with a background in psychedelic research, community building, and soul-led entrepreneurship. His work blends science, ceremony, and creativity—often accompanied by the sound of his guitar—supporting others to live with more meaning and presence.
Gabrielle is a breathwork facilitator, somatic coach, and ceremonialist devoted to the sacred path of remembering. Her offerings are grounded in lived experience and reverence for plant allies, helping others reconnect with their bodies and the wisdom within.
Together, they created Kanna Garden not just as a business, but as a love letter—to the plants, practices, and shared moments that help us slow down and return to what matters most.
"Kanna Garden is ahead of the curve. The founders have deep knowledge on the specific characteristics of the medicine and explain it perfectly and also serve it with integrity and grace. I definitely purchased my personal supply too and have added Kanna to my ascension protocol…"
- Robert Kent
"The best alternative medicine for accessing the heart. Really appreciate the careful creation and intentionality behind The so sourcing, messaging and education of Kanna Garden"
- Kashtin DeSouza
Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) is a succulent plant native to South Africa, traditionally used by Indigenous Khoisan peoples for centuries in ritual, connection, and emotional centering. Known as a heart-opening ally, kanna was often chewed, brewed, or smoked to support states of calm, presence, and communal harmony—especially after long hunts or in ceremonial gatherings.
Today, its gentle, grounding nature continues to be honored as a botanical that brings us back to ourselves.
At Kanna Garden, we work with high-quality kanna extracts to help you weave this sacred plant into your own rhythms. Whether you're journaling in the morning, settling into breathwork, enjoying a hot/cold cycle or simply seeking a deeper connection with the moment, kanna offers a natural invitation to slow down and soften.
Many in our community report feeling more open-hearted, centered, and creatively attuned when working with this ancient plant.
